About Cash Heist: Golden Scarab Slot
Genii's Cash Heist series swaps themes between entries while keeping the same core engine, and Golden Scarab is the Egyptian one. Jimmy the thief follows a hidden map into a lost tomb after the legendary scarab artefact, and the reels sit inside a chunky sandstone border carved with hieroglyphs, with desert dunes and a pyramid silhouette stretching out behind under a blue-orange dusk sky. Premium symbols are a literal Tutankhamun mask, a green scarab on a papyrus scroll, Anubis-headed canopic jars, and a golden ankh-topped sarcophagus chest. Card royals are stone-carved with vine accents. The top regular symbol pays 500 coins for five of a kind, and the full ceiling sits at 17,425 coins, which works out to roughly 218x the total bet, a modest cap for a high-volatility cascade slot.
Cascading wins drive a multiplier ladder pinned to the top-left of the reels, and it goes x1, x2, x3, x5. The jump from x3 straight to x5 is unusual, since most cascade ladders march evenly through x4, so a fourth chained win pays a step-and-a-half more than the third rather than just one notch up. Once the chain breaks, the ladder snaps back to x1. The Exploding Wild is what stretches those chains. When it lands, it detonates and clears up to eight symbols touching it, refilling the holes through the cascade. A center-grid placement wipes a 3x3 chunk in one go. With a 23.55% hit rate the dry stretches are real, but a single well-placed exploder mid-cascade is what turns a quiet board into a four- or five-step run.
Three Free Falls scatters anywhere award 15 spins, four bump it to 20, five push it to 25, which is generous compared to the 8-12 most cascade slots open with. A second scatter type, Extra Falls, only appears inside the bonus and adds 6, 9, or 12 spins for 3, 4, or 5 of them. The cascade ladder extends to x5 inside Free Falls and carries the same chain logic, so stacking one long cascade against a retrigger is where the bigger numbers come from. No buy bonus, no ante bet, no gamble screen on the Egyptian entry. Just twenty fixed paylines, the tumble loop, and the explode-and-retrigger cycle doing all of the work.
