Seven Colours, Seven Multipliers

Double Rainbow plays on a 7-reel, 6-row grid using cluster pays - five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically form a win. Cascading mechanics remove winning symbols and drop new ones in. So far, standard stuff. What makes this different is how the seven reels map to seven colours.

Each reel is assigned a rainbow colour. Each colour has its own Reel Multiplier that starts inactive. When a Cloud symbol lands on a reel, it activates that reel's multiplier and adds a value to it (anywhere from 2x up to 250x). All wins matching that colour get multiplied for as long as the reel stays active. A cloud landing on the red reel with 50x means every red cluster win is multiplied by 50x.

Normal Clouds activate one reel and add 1 extra spin. Double Rainbow Clouds are the bigger deal - they add their multiplier value to ALL currently active Reel Multipliers and award 3 extra spins. Land a 100x Double Rainbow Cloud with four reels active and each of those four multipliers jumps by 100x.

Chasing the Full Rainbow

When all seven Rainbow Reels are active simultaneously, Full Rainbow triggers. Every individual Reel Multiplier gets multiplied by a factor of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x. You also get 5 extra spins where all seven reels remain active.

This is the chase moment. Seven active reels each carrying multiplied values applied to every matching cluster win during 5 spins with cascading. The math stacks fast. A reel sitting at 50x gets the 10x Full Rainbow modifier and becomes 500x. Clusters of that colour during those final spins all carry that weight.

Getting there is the hard part. Seven clouds need to land across seven different reels within the same sequence of extra spins. Regular Clouds only add 1 spin each. Double Rainbow Clouds add 3. Without a few Double Rainbow Clouds extending the run, you'll run out of spins before all seven reels light up.

Identical Symbols, Different Values

Here's the unusual design choice: all seven paying symbols have identical base payouts. A cluster of 15+ symbols pays 50x your bet regardless of colour. The differentiation comes entirely from the Reel Multipliers. A red cluster and a blue cluster pay the same base amount, but if the red reel has a 200x multiplier active and the blue reel has nothing, that red cluster is worth 200 times more.

This means the game doesn't have traditional "high" and "low" symbols. Symbol value is dynamic - determined by which clouds have landed on which reels. A colour that was worthless two spins ago becomes the most valuable thing on the grid after a big cloud hits its reel.
