About Dragon's Realm Slot

The wild placement is the design choice that holds this game together. The Red Dragon never appears on reels 2, 3 or 4 in the base game. He only lands on the outer reels, the bookends, which is also where most paying combos either start or terminate. When he does land, he stretches to fill the full reel above and below his initial position, and the Doubles The Prize banner beside his portrait at the top of the cabinet is literal: every winning line he contributes to pays at 2x the paytable value, not 1x with an extra symbol. So a five-of-a-kind run that includes him on reel 1 or reel 5 pays double automatically, no separate multiplier mechanic required.

Three or more Dragon Shield Scatters trigger the free games round on a tiered count: three scatters award 8 free spins, four push the count to 20, and a rare five-scatter landing reaches 30. During the round, a Gold Dragon Wild replaces the Red one and carries the same Reels 1 & 5 restriction with the same doubling rule, so a hot bonus where both outer wilds land in the same spin can pay quadruple on a five-of-a-kind across the middle. There's no Buy Feature or Super Bet ante here, which lines up with this game's early-catalog 2012 release, and the bonus is the only feature path apart from the random jackpots overhead.

Two random progressives sit above the grid. The Grand reads in the four to five figures in the demo, the Minor floats much smaller, and both award on any paid spin without a symbol requirement. The art uses the standard fantasy castle register: a stone keep with stained-glass windows in the distance on the left, snow-capped mountains behind it, green hills rolling under a daylight sky, and a winged dragon silhouette circling on the right horizon. Inside the grid you get a knight, a wizard, a princess in blue, a treasure chest spilling gold coins, a heraldic shield with a gold dragon, a chalice, a sword, a crown, and card royals in gothic black serif on burnt-orange scrolls. The DRAGON'S REALM wordmark up top is rendered in DarkCrystalScript and Constantia-Bold with a sword and dragon ornament on either side. It's a clean Habanero design from the era before the studio added expanding wild mechanics to most of its newer cabinets, and the reels-restricted version here still reads as a more disciplined take than the more common everywhere-on-the-grid implementation.
