Fire Blaze: Red Wizard Slot by Playtech

Most Fire Blaze titles hand you a plain rectangular grid. Red Wizard doesn't. The reels step in and out, with the two outer reels standing three symbols tall while the three in the middle run four, giving a lopsided 3-4-4-4-3 shape across the 50 fixed lines. That stepped layout is the one structural quirk here. Under the wizard art it's an otherwise familiar Fire Blaze orb build, and the reel shape is really the only thing setting it apart from its stablemates.

The orb build is the Flaming Ball Respin, and it's the main draw. Glowing orange orbs land stamped with either a cash figure or a jackpot star. Land six or more on screen at once and they lock in place, the respin round kicks off, and you get a set of respins to fill more positions. Every time a fresh orb locks, the respin counter resets, so a board that keeps feeding you orbs keeps the feature breathing. When it finally runs dry, you collect the cash printed on every locked orb together.

Those orbs are also the only route to the four fixed jackpots. Mini pays 20x the stake, Minor 100x, Major 500x, and the Grand sits at 2,000x as the ceiling. None of them are one-and-done either. A single respin can drop more than one jackpot before it ends.

The bearded, red-hooded wizard tops the regular pay table, and as in most Fire Blaze games he typically doubles as the wild that stands in for the other symbols. Below him sit a purple raven beneath a moon, a gold spellbook marked with a pentagram, an amulet ring set with a red gem and a purple potion orb, with gilded A/K/Q/J/10 royals at the low end. A separate free games round fills out the rest.

The reels sit in an ornate gold surround against a dark-fantasy forest at dusk, purple sky overhead, glowing mushrooms dotted across the ground and a timbered cottage half-swallowed by the trees behind.
