Fire My Laser throws out paylines entirely. The 7x6 hexagonal grid uses Hacksaw's ReactWins mechanic - bombs and lasers on the grid detonate and destroy symbols in their blast radius. Every paying symbol caught in an explosion awards its individual coin value. Small Bombs clear a 3x3 area. Big Bombs take out 5x5. X-Lasers shoot diagonal lines to the grid edges. Weapons activate from bottom to top, right to left. When a bomb's explosion hits another weapon, that weapon triggers too. Chain reactions are the core of every good spin - a Big Bomb hits an X-Laser, which hits a Super Laser, which cuts across half the grid. The 42-position hex layout gives these chain reactions more room to develop than a standard 5x3 ever could.
Multiplier symbols sit behind shield layers. Two-shield multipliers carry values between 2x and 10x. Three-shield multipliers range from 15x up to 500x. Each weapon hit strips one shield layer. The Super Laser ignores this - it instantly destroys all shields on contact, making it the single most important weapon for unlocking high multipliers.
