About Fortune Chests Slot
Three treasure chests sit above the reels, one green, one red, one purple, and they're the entire reason this little 3x3 machine exists. The base game is a classic fruit setup, five fixed lines paying left to right, but coloured Token symbols keep dropping onto the reels and covering whatever was underneath. Each token flies off to reveal the hidden symbol, which can finish a line, and as it leaves it feeds the matching-colour chest above. Fill a chest and there's a random chance it cracks open into a bonus. Only one fires at a time, and which one depends entirely on which chest you filled.
Each chest runs a completely different round. The red chest is a hold-and-win on a 3x3 board: Gold Coins land in columns one and three, and a single Royal Coin sticks in the centre column, soaking up the combined value of every gold coin on screen each spin. Coins reset your attempts, and when they run out everything pays at once. Gold coins carry 1x up to 15x, with four gemstone jackpots sitting on top, Emerald 25x, Sapphire 50x, Amethyst 200x and Ruby 500x. The green chest is a pick-me: twenty chests appear, you open them to find cash prizes or Royal symbols, collect three Royals and the Royal jackpot pays 250x. There's a x25 multiplier chest hiding in the pile too. The purple chest is a collection round, a 3x3 grid dropping MIN, MID, MAX and ULTRA coins, where five of a kind banks that jackpot (20x, 50x, 200x, 500x) and any extra coins beyond five stack an escalating multiplier, x2 first, then climbing by one.
The wild substitutes for everything except the tokens, so it builds line wins but stays out of the chest machinery. A Lucky Time helper can step in at random and seed symbols to push a bonus along, and any base win can be sent to a card gamble, double or nothing against the dealer's card. No buy feature, no ante, so the chests trigger on their own schedule or not at all. Some operators bolt on a progressive mystery jackpot, but that's their addition, not part of the core game.
It looks the part. The reels glow inside an ornate gold frame set in a treasure cavern, dark rocky walls studded with red gems, warm firelight washing everything in amber. The symbols are bright cartoon fruit, cherries, blue grapes, purple plums, watermelon, golden double bells and a grinning Joker as the top pay. A tidy classic body wrapped around three bonus engines that almost never overlap.
