Fruit Super Nova 60 Slot Overview

A plain fruit machine with sixty paylines and nothing standing behind them. Fruit Super Nova 60 is the sixth cabinet Evoplay has assembled from the same parts: five reels, four rows, cartoon fruit on purple reel strips, one flaming star that pays from anywhere. There is no wild, no free spins round, and nothing to buy. The first spin shows you the whole game.

The payline count fools people, so the maths deserves a second look. Those 60 lines are patterns, not a stake multiplier. Total bet is whatever the bet field reads, anywhere from 0.10 to 75, and every coefficient in the game hangs off that same figure. Which makes the headline number decode cleanly: five golden apples on a line pay 85x, sixty lines of them come to 5,100x, and that is the advertised maximum to the digit. The ceiling is literally every payline landing the top symbol at once.

At 96.05% it has the highest return in the family, ahead of the 96.03% shared by three of its siblings, and it ties the 30-line build for the highest cap. Two hundredths of a percent. It wins the family on paper and nowhere a player would ever feel it. Seven of these classic fruit builds exist now, which tells you how well the format sells.

Theme & Design

The whole thing is staged as a physical machine standing in a dark room. Golden cabinet with a bright orange halo bleeding off its edges, a dotted LED marquee across the top spelling TIME TO START in bulb-lettering, a chunky lever moulded onto the right side of the housing. Reel strips are deep aubergine purple, which is the smartest call in the build, because the fruit reads instantly against it.

Symbols are thick-outlined cartoon work, glossy and a little plasticky: a blue plum with a green leaf, a wedge of watermelon with the seeds drawn in, red cherries on a shared stem, orange, lemon, a bunch of purple grapes. The top symbol is a fat golden apple with a curling stalk. The Scatter is a yellow five-pointed star with flames licking up off its edges, the one symbol given any sense of motion. Everything else is flat and still. It looks tidy and cheap the way land-based fruit machines look tidy and cheap, and that is presumably the brief.

Features & How They Work

Sixty Fixed Paylines

All 60 lines are locked on and cannot be reduced. Combinations run from the leftmost reel rightwards across adjacent reels, three symbols minimum, and only the highest win on each line is paid, so a five-of-a-kind never stacks on top of the three-of-a-kind sitting inside it. Since the same four rows feed all sixty patterns, a single lucky cluster of matching fruit registers on several lines at once. That is where the frequent small payouts come from.

Flaming Star Scatter

Three, four or five stars anywhere on the grid pay 2x, 10x and 50x, added on top of whatever the lines returned that spin. Position is irrelevant, which is the only rule in the game that ignores the paylines. It unlocks nothing, and there is no round behind it.

Because line coefficients and Scatter coefficients sit on the same total-bet scale, they compare directly, and the comparison is unflattering. Five Scatters pay 50x. Five golden apples on one line pay 85x. The rarest symbol in the game is not the best payer in it, which is a strange piece of design for a slot where the Scatter is the only special symbol on the reels.

How Fruit Super Nova 60 Plays

Sixty lines across four rows means the reels nearly always find something, and that is both the rhythm of the game and its problem. Four of the seven fruits pay 0.3x for three of a kind. So a large share of the payouts the machine lights up and jingles over hand back less than a third of what the spin cost. The balance drifts downward while the cabinet keeps announcing that it is paying. Every game in this series does that. At 60 lines it is the most pronounced it has been so far, because the extra patterns were funded by shaving the per-line table again.

Medium-low volatility, and it plays exactly like it reads. Long dead runs are uncommon and so are jolts. The golden apple carries the entire session and everything else pays in small change, so the stretch between one apple line and the next is where the game lives, and there is nothing building or collecting to fill it. Autoplay and a fast-spin toggle sit under the reels and you will probably reach for both, since watching the reels stop adds nothing that pressing the button faster does not.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Highest RTP in the Fruit Super Nova family at 96.05%, with the joint-highest 5,100x cap
  • Something lands on most spins thanks to 60 lines over four rows
  • Clean and readable: bright fruit against dark purple strips, no clutter anywhere on the layout
  • Stakes start at 0.10, and the total bet is the figure on the display rather than that figure times 60

Cons

  • No wild, no free spins, no bonus round, no multipliers; the Scatter is the only special symbol and it leads nowhere
  • Four of the seven fruits pay 0.3x for three of a kind, so many registered wins return under a third of the stake
  • Five Scatters pay 50x, less than five of the top symbol on a single payline
  • Mechanically identical to six sibling releases that all land within 100x of the same ceiling

Is Fruit Super Nova 60 Worth Playing?

4/10

This is the best-value entry in a series where the value barely moves. Top RTP of the seven by two hundredths of a percent, joint-best ceiling at 5,100x, and the identical game underneath all of them. Evoplay's method across the line is that every jump in payline count is paid for by cutting the per-line table by the matching factor, which is why the 20-line original stops at 5,000x with a 250x top symbol and the 100-line version stops at 5,000x with a 50x one. Load any of them and you are playing for roughly the same number.

What 60 lines changes is texture, not worth: wins arrive more often, smaller, flatter. The construction is honest and the presentation is clean, and neither of those things gives a player a second thing to think about. Ten minutes in, the game has already told you everything it has.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the maximum win on Fruit Super Nova 60?

5,100x the total bet. That figure is not abstract: each payline pays 85x for five golden apples, and 60 lines all hitting five golden apples on the same spin comes to exactly 5,100x.

Does Fruit Super Nova 60 have free spins or a bonus round?

No. There is no free spins round, no bonus game, no bonus buy and no wild symbol. The flaming star Scatter pays 2x, 10x or 50x for three, four or five anywhere on the reels, and that payout is all it does.

What is the RTP and volatility?

96.05% with medium-low volatility. That RTP is the highest in the Fruit Super Nova series, where the other builds sit at 96.03% or 96.04%.

How does it differ from the other Fruit Super Nova games?

Payline count and the per-line paytable, and nothing else. This one has 60 lines with an 85x top symbol; the original has 20 lines with a 250x top symbol. The maximum win lands at 5,000x or 5,100x whichever version you load.

Can anyone play the demo?

The demo runs on play money with no registration, but it is meant for adults only. Real-money play requires you to be 18 or over, or the legal age wherever you are, at a licensed casino. Decide on a budget before you deposit.
