The 1000 Treatment
Pragmatic Play has a formula: take a popular Gates title, double the multiplier ceiling, triple the max win, and slap "1000" on the logo. They did it with Gates of Olympus. Now Gatot Kaca gets the same treatment. Released in March 2024, Gates of Gatot Kaca 1000 bumps the multiplier range from 500x to 1,000x and pushes the win cap from 5,000x all the way to 15,000x.
Everything else stays the same. The 6x5 scatter pay grid, the tumble mechanic, the multiplier accumulation system, the free spins structure - identical to the original Gates of Gatot Kaca and to Gates of Olympus 1000. If you know one, you know all of them.
What the 1,000x Multiplier Actually Changes
In the base game, the difference is subtle. Multiplier symbols still land randomly during spins and tumbles with values picked from a set: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x - plus the new 1,000x. When a tumble sequence finishes, all multiplier values on screen get summed and applied. Adding 1,000x to the pool means the upper end of single-sequence wins jumps considerably.
Free spins is where the upgrade matters most. Multiplier values accumulate across the entire round, so a 1,000x symbol early on inflates every win that follows. 15 starting spins (plus retriggers at 5 per 3+ scatters) give time for the running total to build. The 15,000x cap means the game lets those big accumulations play out further before cutting you off.

Worth the Upgrade?
15,000x is a meaningful step up from 5,000x. The 1,000x multiplier symbol is rare, but when it hits during an active tumble chain, the math gets interesting fast.
The visual package hasn't changed much from the original. Same golden Javanese temple, same battle-armored Gatotkaca character, same colorful gemstones and artifacts. The "1000" badge on the logo and the "WIN UP TO 15000 X BET" banner are the obvious tells. And if you want even more, Pragmatic Play also released a Super Scatter variant of the Gatot Kaca line with a 50,000x ceiling - the series keeps expanding.
