The Grid Takeover

King Carrot has one central mechanic that drives everything: symbol replacement. When the King Carrot symbol lands, it picks a random lower-paying symbol type and transforms every instance of it on the 7x7 grid into Carrot symbols. Land two King Carrots and two symbol types get replaced. Each replacement also awards a respin, keeping the action going.

In the base game, these replacements are temporary. But in the Carrot Carnage bonus, they're permanent. Every symbol type that gets converted to carrots stays as carrots for the entire feature. By spin 5 or 6, three or four symbol types might be gone, and the grid is filling up with orange. By the end, you might be looking at a grid that's 80% carrots.

Epic King Carrot and Multipliers

After a King Carrot replacement, 1 to 3 Epic King Carrots can appear, replacing existing Carrot symbols on the grid. Each one drops a multiplier onto a random Carrot symbol. Two multipliers of 25x and 50x on the same Carrot cluster means 75x applied to whatever that cluster pays at base value. On the premium Carrot symbol (SUPER_HIGH), a 14+ cluster pays 10x at base. With 75x multiplier, that's 750x from a single cluster.

The SUPER_HIGH symbol has an extended paytable going up to 49+ symbols at 500x. A full 49-symbol grid of Carrots - theoretically possible in the bonus - pays 500x before multipliers. Stack a few Epic multipliers on that and the 10,000x cap comes into range.

Bird Attack

Randomly during gameplay, a bird shadow crosses the grid. The bird swoops in and removes one or more entire rows and columns of symbols, sending new ones dropping in. Wild and FS symbols are protected from removal. It can clear a significant portion of the grid, creating fresh cascade opportunities.

Bird Attack is unpredictable and uncontrollable. Sometimes it clears a stale grid and opens space for better drops. Sometimes it wipes a board that was already building toward something. In the Carrot Carnage bonus, it can be particularly impactful - removing converted Carrots means new symbols drop in that might immediately get converted again by the persistent replacement.

Carrot Carnage

Three FS scatters trigger 10 free spins. The critical rule: all King Carrot replacements are progressive. Replace tomatoes with carrots on spin 2, and tomatoes stay as carrots for spins 3 through 10. Replace peppers on spin 4, and those stay too.
