About King Kong Splash Power Play Slot
Most collect slots hand you one bonus and let the math decide the flavour. This one makes you pick. Land three or more coloured bonus scatters and you choose between Kong Bonus Spins, ten spins where every Cash Prize on a Collect spin pays out, or Fishin' Mayhem, a shorter five-spin cash-only mode built around a growing Collect Grid. They play nothing alike. In Kong Bonus Spins you stack Collect symbols to earn extra spins and a climbing prize multiplier, x2 at three Collects, up to x10 at twelve. Fishin' Mayhem drops the multipliers entirely and instead raises the minimum fish value as you gather Kong symbols. Same trigger, two genuinely different rounds, and the pick happens before you know which is stronger for the spin you're on.
The base game is a jungle ways board of card royals, crocodiles, red chickens and a grinning gorilla, with blue Cash Prize fish carrying values from 0.5x to 20x your bet printed on them. Collect symbols land on the outer reels 1 and 6, expand to fill the column, and sweep up every fish value on screen. The variants are where it gets loud: Expand Collect spins a Boost Zone worth up to 10x, Colossal Collect drops a giant reel over the middle four columns and repeats up to five times, and a Super Shark can land alongside a Collect and keep inflating until it's caught. Kong's Cash modifiers fire between spins too, seeding extra fish, extra scatters, or wiping the board for a fresh drop.
Feeding the whole thing are three upgrade banks down the left rail, Collect Boost, Extra Spins and Trail Boost, each filled by its own scatter colour and each altering how the chosen bonus behaves. Fixed pots sit on the right at 50x, 200x and 2500x. The headline of this edition is Power Play, a side bet in three tiers: Standard at 5x stake, Super at 10x, Ultra at 20x, each stripping the reels down to Collect and Cash Prize symbols and pushing the bonus chance higher. It's a trigger-chase, not a straight buy, and features still resolve at your base bet once they hit.
Underneath the shark gimmick and the mode-select screen, though, this is the same cash-collect-and-unlock formula Blueprint Gaming has run through half a dozen titles, and it shows. If you played Wolf Fury Fire Blitz or any of the Fire Blitz range, the cash collect engine here will feel familiar to the point of being derivative. The Power Play tiers and the two-way bonus choice are the real reasons to pick this one over its stablemates.
