Kong Even Bigger Christmas Slot Overview
Kong in a Santa hat, sweeping cash-stamped bananas off a snowed-in jungle grid. Blueprint put this out in December 2025 as part of a festive batch, and it runs on the machinery the studio has been using since Kong 3 in March: 6x4, 4,096 ways, and Cash Prize symbols worth nothing at all until a Collect lands on reel 1 or reel 6 and expands to sweep them up.
What lifts it above plain cash-collect plumbing is that the reels keep count of you. An icy scroll above the grid logs every Collect landed, six milestones deep, and each one switches on a behaviour that then stays switched on: sticky respins at two, stepping symbols at five, cascades at eight, a wheel at twelve, a random modifier pot at sixteen, and a rebuilt bonus round at twenty. The ceiling is 10,000x bet. Getting near it means being well down that list with a bonus running hot and a stack of barrels in view.
Theme & Design
Blueprint's approach to Christmas here is frost rather than a repaint. The jungle behind the reels stays green and leafy, with a frozen stream running under the grid and snow banked on the rocks, and the reel frame is a pine garland studded with red holly berries. Card royals sit on cracked ice-blue stone with snow caps on top of each tile. The animals get the better work: a tiger in round glasses cradling a mug, a rhino in a blue scarf chewing a cigar, a parrot under a Santa hat, a crocodile grinning through drifting snowflakes. Cash bananas arrive in bunches with values printed on dark plaques below them, and the Cashpots are wooden barrels stamped MINI through MEGA, echoed by a snow-topped totem ladder down the left edge reading 2,500 / 200 / 50 / 20.
The trail banner is the nicest touch. It is a sheet of pale ice with the feature icons frozen inside it, and only the Collect Kong at the far left starts out in colour, the rest sitting grey-blue until you earn them. Music is the usual Kong track under a holiday arrangement. The art has always been the strongest part of this series and it holds up here, cartoonish and readable, every cash value legible at a glance.

Features & How They Work
Collect symbols and the trail they feed
Collect starts out active on reels 1 and 6 only. Land one with any banana or barrel showing and it stretches to fill its whole reel, then takes every value in view, barrels included at their fixed rate. That is the entire base game economy, since ways wins on royals and animals are small enough to be rounding errors.
Every Collect that lands also nudges the trail one place, whether or not there was anything to collect. Two unlocks Win Streak, where cash symbols lock in place and the rest respins until nothing new arrives. Five unlocks Win Stepper, where the initiating symbols climb or drop to fill the reel. Eight unlocks Win Blast, a clear-and-cascade that runs up to four times. Twelve adds the Treasure Wheel symbol, which pairs with a Collect for one spin awarding a Cashpot or a mystery win of 5-10x bet. Progress sits against your account rather than the session, so it survives closing the tab.
Kong Spins
Three or more Bonus symbols award 10 spins, with four, five or six also paying 20x, 100x or 500x bet on the trigger itself. Inside the round, Collects do double duty: they still sweep the grid, and they accumulate. Three of them add 5 spins and set a x2 multiplier on collected values, six make it x3, nine x5, twelve x10. Winnings bank up and pay out when the spins run dry.
The gaps between those rungs are wide. Twelve Collects inside what usually amounts to fifteen or twenty spins is a tall order, so most rounds finish at x2 or x3 and the top rung stays theoretical.
Even Bigger Bonus
At twenty Collects the standard round is retired and this replaces it permanently. Same trigger, same 10 spins, but first you pick up to five Kong idols for upgrades. Banana Boost is the one that stacks: each consecutive reveal multiplies the lowest Cash Prize in view a step further, x1 through x5. Trail Boost rewrites the multiplier rungs to x3, x4, x6 and x15. Cash Attack strips the reels down to cash, barrels, wheels and Collects for the whole round. The rest add spins, bananas, Collects or Treasure Wheels, and each of those appears only once.
Cash Attack landing alongside Trail Boost is where the 10,000x actually lives. Everything else is small change by comparison.
Treasure Blitz
Unlocked at sixteen Collects, this quietly banks every banana and barrel that lands with no Collect in view. On a spin that pays nothing, the pot can fire and hand you one of seven modifiers picked at random: extra Bonus symbols with three guaranteed, a forced win from top symbols and wilds, whole reels flooded with cash symbols, a straight sweep of everything showing, an added Collect on reel 1 or 6, a wheel spin, or extra spins if a bonus is already running.
It is the only thing in the game that goes off without warning, and it turns dead spins into something worth watching.
Power Play
The ante mode costs 5x your stake per spin and clears the reels of royals and animals entirely, leaving Cash Prize, Cashpot and Collect symbols. No tiers to choose between, no buy button anywhere in the game, and you can flip it on or off between spins from the button beside spin.
It is not a bonus buy. What it buys is collect frequency and trail progress, which at 5x a spin is a steep price for a shortcut through the grind.

How Kong Even Bigger Christmas Plays
There is a scheduling problem baked into this one. It is built around a twenty-step grind that assumes you keep coming back, and it is a Christmas game, which means most people load it somewhere between late November and early January and then forget it exists. The counter is per title, too. A hundred hours on any other Kong game buys you nothing here.
Play it fresh and it is thin. Royals pay a fraction of a stake, a full six-reel run of animals barely clears 2.5x, and spin after spin drops two or three bananas onto the grid with no Collect anywhere near them. The particular sting is the barrels. A banana worth 1.50 evaporating is annoying; a MINI barrel sitting mid-grid, worth a flat 20x bet and untouchable because reels 1 and 6 came up empty, is the kind of thing that sends people reaching for Power Play.
Once Win Streak and Win Blast are live the tempo changes shape, because a Collect stops being one animation and becomes a chain. Add Treasure Blitz and the dead spins stop being dead. The game improves the longer you own it, which is a strange promise to attach to seasonal decoration.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- The trail steps behave differently from each other rather than being bigger versions of the same sweep
- Trigger scatters pay on their own, up to 500x bet for six
- Treasure Blitz fires on losing spins and always pays something
- Four fixed Cashpots up to a 2,500x MEGA, collectable without any bonus round
Cons
- Mathematically identical to Kong 3 Even Bigger Bonus, down to the multiplier rungs and barrel values
- A grind-based progression sits badly on a game with a six-week season
- Plenty of lobbies serve the 92% build even though the game is marketed on 95%
- No buy feature, so Power Play at 5x stake is the only accelerator
Is Kong Even Bigger Christmas Worth Playing?
Nobody has to work hard to call this a reskin, and the charge sticks. The six milestones, the barrel values, the idol picker and the multiplier ladder had all shipped nine months earlier under a different Kong title, and Blueprint ran the same set again the following summer in a football strip. Snow on the rocks, a hat on the gorilla, sleigh bells over the theme tune.
Judged on its own the underlying design is decent. Six unlock steps that each change the shape of a collect, seven Treasure Blitz modifiers, a picker with a stacking multiplier in it, and no buy button papering over the gaps. Where it falls down is fit. Persistent progression rewards the player who returns for months, and a Christmas slot has about six weeks before the snow starts looking odd. That mismatch is the honest reason to be lukewarm here, rather than the recycled art, which frankly wears frost better than it wore football kit.
One consolation, and it is a real one: the trail does not reset. Whatever you unlock this December is still unlocked when the game comes back round the lobby next November.
