About Legion Gold and the Throne of Dead Slot

Third entry in the Legion Gold series, and the most cinematic of the three. The reels sit at the entrance to a burning Egyptian temple where a Roman cohort has just lost a fight they did not understand. Helmets, broken spears, a torn red standard and a crocodile-headed sarcophagus are scattered across stone slabs while smoke pours from cracks in the columns behind. The reel frame mimics the temple's blue-and-gold painted pillars, and the high-pay symbols mix Roman iconography (lions in cloaks, a Cleopatra-style golden bust) with Egyptian creatures (cobra, crocodile, panther).

Two trigger paths matter here, and they ignore each other completely. Gold Re-Spins need 6 or more Gold Coin symbols on a single spin. The triggering coins lock, you get 3 respins, and any new coin or Gold Coin Bag resets the counter back to 3. Coins carry printed cash values that only pay out when the respins end, so a single fat coin landing on the last respin is worth as much as one that landed first. Filling all 15 positions awards the Golden Prize at 1000x bet, and the four-tier ladder above the reels (Grand 500x, Major 100x, Minor 25x, Mini 10x) hits during the respin sequence rather than as a separate bonus wheel.

The Mega Free Spins path needs 3 Scatters and runs with oversized Mega Symbols that cover multiple positions. The unusual bit is the march. Between spins these Mega blocks shift one reel sideways instead of staying put, so a 3x3 high-pay symbol on reel 1 might be on reel 2 next spin, then reel 3, dragging full-grid combinations along with it. Wilds substitute for everything except Scatters and the two coin types, and any Wild that lands as part of a stack expands to fill its reel.

There's also a quieter mechanic running underneath. Coins that don't reach the 6-symbol threshold and land without a Coin Bag get swept into the Victory Gold meter, which pays up to 100x bet when it fills - much smaller than the 500x cap on the original Play'n GO Coin Chest entry, but it triggers far more often. The GO Ultra bet booster sits next to the spin button and stretches the ceiling from the 1000x Golden Prize up to the full 10,000x advertised maximum by widening what the bonus modes can pay; base spins still calculate against your unboosted stake. Mechanically this is closer to the Hold and Win half of the series than to the Sphinx of Dead sister title, which leans harder on the free spins side. Volatility lands in the medium band, which for a Hold and Win driven game means the coin trigger shows up reasonably often - the question is whether enough coins stick to push past three respins.
