About Liberty Coins: Hold & Win Slot

The reels sit on a wooden stage draped in red, white and blue, with shooting-star streamers arcing across a midnight backdrop and four jackpot panels stacked above the grid like a fireworks-night billboard: Grand 5,000, Major 150, Minor 50, Mini 25, all in patriotic colours. Diamonds, a brass bell and stencilled royals fill the base reels. It's a 4th of July celebration that wears its theme without subtlety.

Five paylines, left to right, run across a compact grid, and the headline mechanic is the Hold and Win respin round. Five or more Coins, Jackpot symbols or Gifts on a single spin trigger it, and the game can also drop you in randomly without the trigger count. You then get three respins on a stripped reel set: only Coins, Gifts, Stars, Jackpot icons and blanks appear, every special symbol that lands locks in place, and any new lock resets the counter back to three. The round ends when the counter empties or when all 15 cells are filled.

Coins carry cash values worth 1x to 10x your bet. Gifts are the consolidator, up to two per spin, and inside the bonus a Gift collects the sum of every cash value currently sitting on the reels and pays it as one lump. The Star is where this game pulls away from the standard Hold and Win template. Up to three Stars can land per respin, and each one carries a boost of +2x, +3x, +5x, +7x, +10x, +15x or +20x. That boost applies to every locked symbol on the grid, not just one cell. Picture a half-full board with eight Coins averaging 4x apiece, then a +10x Star hits: every locked Coin gains 10x of bet on top of its existing value. With two or three Stars compounding across a heavy board, the math snowballs in a hurry. That is the engine behind the 5,158x ceiling.

Four jackpots ride along on the same trigger. Mini pays 25x, Minor 50x, Major 150x. The Grand at 5,000x only awards if you fill all 15 positions, which is a long ask given the three-respin window, but Stars effectively buy you space by inflating what's already locked. Wilds fill in for low and high pays from reel two onwards (never reel one) and ignore Coins, Gifts, Stars and Jackpot tiles entirely, so they are a base-game tool only.

Two shortcuts sit beside the spin button. Double Chance at 1.6x your stake bumps the trigger frequency on every spin, and the direct buy sends you straight into the respins for 60x. The base RTP is on the lean side at 92.72%, with the buy nudging up to 92.83%, so the math leans on the bonus more than most Octoplay Hold and Win siblings. Without a Star landing in the respins, payouts feel modest. With one or two stacking, the same bonus can finish anywhere from a tidy 50x to a board-clearing four-figure hit.
