About Medusa Slot
This is the first NextGen Medusa, the one the later sequel was built on, and it keeps things deliberately plain. The whole feature set hangs on the free games. Land three Pegasus scatters and you get 10 spins where the Medusa wild drops in stacked, capable of covering an entire reel, with a multiplier that can lift the wins those wilds complete. More scatters during the round retrigger extra spins.
In the base game it's a flat 25-line slot. Medusa is both the highest-paying symbol and the wild, standing in for everything except the Pegasus scatter, with Perseus next, then a Greek helmet, a serpent, and card royals from nine to ace. There's no petrification rule, no buy feature, no second bonus path. The gamble is the only extra, a red-or-black or suit guess that doubles a win or loses it.
The art shows its age a little. Medusa sits in front of marble temple columns rendered in that early-2010s fantasy style, more straightforward than detailed, snakes coiling out of her hair in the logo and on the reels. It plays its mythology straight rather than for menace.
What you get is a clean, low-fuss reel slot from the older NextGen catalogue. If you want the same gorgon theme with a frozen-wild twist on top, the Medusa 2 sequel adds that layer. And for the bigger reel-engine version of the legend, the Medusa line later went the Megaways route.
