The Minotaur Wild occupies all three positions on whichever reel it lands - reels 2, 3, or 4 only. When it appears, the Re-Spins feature fires. The Minotaur stays locked in place while all other reels spin again, and they keep spinning until a winning combination forms.
Here's where the mechanic gets interesting. Each non-winning re-spin adds +1 to a multiplier that starts at x1. No cap. Ten dead re-spins mean the eventual win pays at x11. The longer it takes to form a win, the bigger that win becomes. On a 5x3 grid with 10 fixed paylines, non-winning results happen often enough to build meaningful multipliers before a line connects.
Not all reel positions are equal. The Minotaur landing on reel 4 creates the best conditions for large payouts because more symbols to its left means more payline combinations are possible. The Bonus Pop buy feature makes this explicit: buying a reel 2 Wild costs 25x total bet, reel 3 costs 36x, and reel 4 costs 202x. That price gap - 25x versus 202x - tells you exactly how much more valuable the reel 4 position is mathematically.
Endorphina replaced the standard card-pick gamble with a maze walk. After any win, enter the labyrinth. Meet Ariadne (the mythological princess who helped Theseus navigate the original labyrinth) and your win doubles. Meet the Minotaur and you lose everything. Up to five encounters, quit anytime via the Take Win button.
It's functionally a 50/50 gamble with mythology dressing, but the thematic execution fits. Jackpot and Bonus Pop winnings are excluded from the maze.
Minotauros Dice shares its entire mechanic set with the original Minotauros from 2015. Same full-reel Wild, same unlimited multiplier re-spins, same maze gamble, same Bonus Pop reel selection. The difference is cosmetic: lower-paying symbols are rendered as dice with pip counts instead of card values, and sound effects include dice-rolling clinks.
Top-paying symbols are Theseus (100x for five of a kind), Ariadne (80x), and a golden circle emblem (50x). Three progressive mystery jackpots run in the background. At 10,000x max win with high volatility, this sits well above most Endorphina titles for ceiling potential, though base game sessions between Wild appearances run dry.
