About Spartians Slot

The wordplay tells you everything before the reels do. Spartians = Spartan + Martian, and Genii commits to the joke completely. Green-skinned alien warriors stand on rust-coloured Martian terrain in red-plumed Corinthian helmets, gripping golden shields stamped with a Greek "X" and planting battle banners next to NASA rovers. The 5x3 reel set sits on a chunky brown rock outcrop that looks carved out of Mars itself, with Earth and its moon hanging tiny in the upper-left corner, an asteroid drifting past, and Mars glowing red on the opposite edge. Even the card royals get the treatment, A/K/Q/J/10 rendered as italic chrome-green swooshy sci-fi letters with star-spark accents, not the usual lazy filler.

The Spartian Army stacked Wild drives the entire math. In the base game it lands Double-High (2-tall) on any reel, substitutes everything except the scatter, and slaps a flat x2 on any line win it joins. No self-pay, so the Wild only matters when it bridges or completes another symbol's combo. Then the bonus does something most slots don't bother with: it reshapes the stack height by reel position instead of leaving it alone.

Three Red Alert scatters anywhere trigger 9 free spins, four pays 15, five pays 18, and that's the entire bonus award, no retrigger, bet stays locked. What changes is the Wild geometry. On reels 1, 3, and 5 the Spartian stays 2-tall. On reels 2 and 4 it goes 3-tall, which on a three-row grid means the entire reel is Wild whenever it lands. The x2 multiplier still applies. That checkerboard coverage is the whole reason the spin count feels small: every Wild hit on an even reel locks in middle-row participation across most of your 30 paylines at once.

The paytable is where the medium-high volatility shows its teeth. The top symbol, the red-and-gold Mars Banner, pays 1000 coins for five-of-a-kind but collapses to just 22 coins for three. Five-of-a-kind is where Spartians actually pays out, and the FS Triple-High Wilds on reels 2 and 4 exist specifically to push you toward those longer hits. Sym 2 is the Curiosity-style rover, Sym 5 is a green CRT "Rover Feed" monitor relaying telemetry from the Martian surface, and the UFO ties the 1950s sci-fi pastiche together. Bet runs from a penny up to $37.50, with chips at 1, 5, 10, and 25 cents and paylines you can dial down from 30 if you want, a quirk you barely see on other Genii titles these days.
