About Tanzakura Slot

The reels sit against a Mount Fuji silhouette washed in orange sunset, with a red torii gate, bamboo stalks and four kanji paper tiles for spring, summer, autumn and winter. There are no card values here. Every symbol is themed, from the crane banner down to the naginata and kusarigama, which is a nicer touch than most Japanese-themed slots from this era manage. The TANZAKURA logo sits in red gothic capitals with a small kanji subtitle, probably the red-crowned crane. It's a calm, almost minimalist screen, though the legacy Saucify UI does show its age in spots.

Now the clever bit. Tanzakura uses a 3-zone Triple-High stacking setup that's the most elaborate in Genii's recent batch. The Samurai stacks three-high on reels 1 and 2 only, the Maiden Wild stacks three-high on reel 3, and the Kubukimono stacks three-high on reels 4 and 5. Pair that with 50-line Win Both Ways scoring and the symmetry clicks. Samurai feeds left-to-right wins, Kubukimono mirrors him for right-to-left, and the Maiden bridges both sides. And any win involving her doubles automatically, on top of the 1,000-coin top line pay.

Three, four or five Free Spins scatters trigger 10, 14 or 16 spins with the bet locked, and the round can retrigger. The separate Feature scatter launches a Pick-a-Prize round with variable picks: three scatters give you 1 pick from 3, four give you 2 from 4, and five give you 3 from 5. Prizes are multiplied by your bet. The unusual part is that this Pick-a-Prize bonus can fire during Free Spins, which is rare for a Genii build.

Bets run from $0.01 to $62.50, default $2.50. RTP sits at 95.84% but it's operator-configurable down to 93%, so check the info screen before you spin. There's no buy bonus, no gamble, and the Pick round can't retrigger itself. The volatility runs high too, so dry stretches between hits are part of the deal.
