About The Wizard of Oz: I'll Get You My Pretty Slot
The Wicked Witch of the West gets her own slot, and the title comes straight from her snarl after Dorothy's house lands on her sister. Setting matches: a haunted forest, a dark castle silhouette on the horizon, green flame licking up from the base of the reels, and a spooky green script wordmark sitting above a 5x5 grid lit in purple and acid green. Card royals look gothic. The Wicked Witch herself is the top premium, with Glinda floating in her pink bubble as the second.
Base play has one quirk worth knowing: reel 4 occasionally pre-spawns the Wicked Witch or the Top Jackpot symbol, and that reel is the only route into the top award without the bonus. Random positions on other reels can also drop in as Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion or Glinda, seeding orb triggers.
The Hold and Spin round is where this one earns its complexity. Five scattered orbs trigger 3 respins (counter resets on each new orb), and the four character orbs each do something different. Dorothy displays the sum of every other active orb on the grid, recalculated each spin, and you can stack up to 8 of her. Tin Man picks one Purple Orb as his target and pumps its value upward by his own value for every Tin Man already sitting on the grid. Scarecrow throws 5 crow prizes per copy, either dropping fresh Yellow Orbs at his value or boosting existing Purple, Yellow, Scarecrow or Lion orbs. Cowardly Lion is positional: at the end of the round, every orb adjacent to a Lion has its value doubled, so where he lands matters as much as how many show up.
One trigger detail rewires the round: if Glinda is among the triggering scatters, she transforms into one of the four characters and the other three are auto-placed on the reels. Triggering with Glinda guarantees all four mechanics in play at once. Fill all 25 positions before respins run out and the final total doubles again. Orbs also carry the five jackpot labels (Mini through the 2,500x Top), and there's a separate Witch Feature in the base game tied to her reel-4 appearances. The Buy Pass is 50x for direct entry with at least one guaranteed character orb. Movie-themed slots rarely splice this much mechanical interaction into their licensed art, and the Dorothy sum-of-others rule is doing real work.
