The original Wild Toro won EGR Game of the Year back in 2017. Since then, ELK has built a franchise around the bull - Wild Toro II, Book of Toro, Toro 7s, World Tour. Toro 911 drops the Spanish bullfighting setting for a crime drama. Same three characters, new jobs: Toro is the cop, Matadors are the goons, Diaz is the corrupt mayor.
The grid grew from the original's 5x4 (178 ways) to 5x7 with 421 connecting ways. Symbols win when connected side by side or diagonally across consecutive reels. No cascades, no tumbles, no free spins bonus. Toro 911 runs entirely on respins.
Toro lands exclusively on reel 5 and walks left one reel per respin until he exits at reel 1. He's a wild the whole time. Matadors are multiplier wilds (minimum x2) that trigger respins of their own - they either stay or leave each respin, and the chain continues until the last one drops out.
Diaz is a sticky wild that doesn't leave. When he lands, he spawns at least one Matador and pumps up their multipliers during respins. The two big features emerge from character combinations: Toro + Matadors triggers "Toro Goes Wild" (Toro charges each Matador, absorbs their multiplier, leaves a wild trail behind). Toro + Diaz triggers "Clean the Streets" (Diaz spawns Matadors, Toro charges them, then goes after Diaz himself).
Every time Toro charges a character, he leaves wilds on every grid position he passes through. If a position already has a wild, it gets a x2 multiplier. If the wild already has a multiplier, it bumps up by +1. A Toro that charges three Matadors across a 7-row grid can fill most of it with multiplied wilds before the round resolves.
This is where the 10,000x comes from. No bonus round, no separate mode - just a single base game spin where the right character combination covers the 5x7 grid in multiplied wilds. The gap between a dead spin and a 1,000x+ spin is entirely about whether Toro shares the grid with Matadors or Diaz.
Without a bonus round to buy, the X-iter is structured differently from other ELK games. The cheapest options (2.5x, 5x) boost the chance of Toro sharing the grid with other characters. 10x guarantees a Diaz landing. 25x guarantees Toro Goes Wild. 100x guarantees Clean the Streets - the full Toro-charges-Matadors-then-Diaz sequence.
At 94% RTP, the 100x Clean the Streets buy is the most direct path to big multiplied wild trails. But even the 10x Diaz Drop provides a guaranteed sticky wild with Matador spawns, which is often enough to start a meaningful respin chain on a 5x7 grid.
