About Wolf Hunters Slot
Three free-spin modes, three completely separate triggers, and a counter system that remembers you between sessions. The first mode is the conventional one - land two Bonus symbols on reels 1 and 5 in base play and 10 spins fire. The other two are slow-burn rewards that the game tracks across every visit you make. The blue Rage potion under each Hunter portrait fills 1 point per successful Werewolf hit by that Hunter, and at 100 the corresponding Hunter Free Spins round triggers with that Hunter pre-upgraded for the entire session. Above the reels, the red Werewolf HP bar starts at 600 and ticks down by 1 with every successful attack from either Hunter. Drain it to zero and Slayer Free Spins fire, where every Werewolf on the reels converts into an expanding Wild on landing. Both counters carry over the next time you launch the game.
Yggdrasil even seeds a fresh demo session with a Starting Bonus dropping 50 Rage onto one random Hunter and 20 onto the other, which means the first Hunter Free Spins trigger usually arrives inside the opening hundred spins instead of after a long grind. That single design choice is worth knowing, because it makes the opening session play very differently from a returning one.
The base game mechanic that drives all of this is the Werewolf Fight. Each Werewolf landing anywhere on the grid prompts a randomly chosen Hunter to attack. Win the brawl and the Werewolf becomes a sticky Wild that triggers one respin. Lose and it just pays out as the top high symbol. Every successful hit advances both the attacker's Rage by 1 and depletes the Werewolf's HP by 1. Wilds carry their own respin rule on top: any Wild landing in base play triggers a respin with all Wilds locked, and any new Wild that lands during that respin extends the chain.
Inside Free Spins the math shifts. Hit rate against the Werewolf jumps substantially, and collecting 3 of either Hunter Bonus symbol upgrades that Hunter mid-round and adds +2 spins. Once upgraded, the male Hunter's wins extend the resulting Wild one reel position to the left, and the Huntress's wins extend it up and down by one. Slayer mode skips upgrades entirely and just blanket-converts every Werewolf into an expanding Wild for all 10 spins.
The cabinet sits inside a dark iron Gothic gate topped by a snarling werewolf crest, with the male Hunter on the left in his duster and brimmed hat and the Huntress on the right in leather and blonde hair. The background shows a wrought-iron fence and the silhouette of a Victorian mansion. Symbol art runs heavy on poison vials, crossbows, silver knives and deep-purple card-suit lows. No buy bonus, no ante toggle. Older Yggdrasil title that shares design DNA with their later Wild Fight engine - Vikings Go To Olympus and 4 Wolves of Fortune DoubleMax both run variations on the Hunter-versus-monster rule that started here.
