About Arthur's Fortune Slot

Camelot at war. The reels sit inside a wooden frame nailed together like a tournament scoreboard, with knights' tents and a hilltop castle stretching across the background. Symbol art leans into the heraldry: King Arthur in a red mantle clutching a shield, an armoured Lancelot, Guinevere, Merlin, plus calligraphic A-K-Q-J-10 royals on parchment. It looks like 2020 Yggdrasil at full polish, which is to say warm, painterly, and a touch storybook.

The headline mechanic is Arthur's Gold. Any base spin can fire a wild transformation: one of the ten regular symbols is picked, and every copy of it on the visible reels turns into a wild simultaneously. So when the trigger lands on a stacked reel of Knaves, you can end up with as many as 10 wilds redrawn across the grid in one motion. It's the difference between a dead spin and a screen-wide payline cascade, and there's no warning before it triggers.

Free Spins use the Scatter Wild, which is one of the more unusual symbols in the paytable. It substitutes for regulars, triggers the round, and pays on its own from just two-of-a-kind on a line. Three, four, or five Scatter Wilds award 7, 10, or 14 spins, but the real hook is the conversion count attached: 1, 2, or 3 specific symbols are turned into wilds permanently for the entire round, not just one spin. Retriggers stack on top - 2 to 5 extra Scatter Wilds during the bonus add 1 to 4 spins each, plus 1 to 4 more permanent conversions, so a long retriggering round can end up running with most of the paytable already locked as wild.

Merlin's Bonus is the side feature. The Bonus symbol awards either coins (40 to 500 in base, 50 to 1,000 in free spins) or a direct ticket into the Free Spins round at one of the three trigger tiers. During Free Spins it can also tack on extra spins instead of cash. No Buy Bonus, no jackpots, no ante bet - the entire game is built around random triggers and the conversion idea.

The 10,857x cap is theoretical and tied almost entirely to a heavily-converted, retriggered Free Spins finish where four or five symbols across the paytable are running as wild on the same spin. For a 2020 release sitting against modern Yggdrasil titles, see the rest of the studio's catalog; this one earns its keep on a single clever idea executed cleanly.
