About Crystal Skull Slot

Three Crystal Skull symbols anywhere on the reels open a two-stage bonus, and the first stage is a gamble dressed up as a reward. A wheel spins and stops on a multiplier of your total bet, x10, x12, x15, x20 or x25, or on a special BONUS wedge. You can pocket whatever it landed on, or push your luck with up to three attempts to chase a bigger multiplier or that BONUS wedge. The catch is that only your last attempt counts, so if you bump a clean x25 down to an x10 trying for more, that x10 is what you walk away with.

Hitting the BONUS wedge is the real prize, because it drops you into the Treasure Hunt Bonus, the top tier of the round, a pick-and-hunt stage played at the same bet. Once you commit to it there's no going back to the wheel, so that BONUS wedge is both the best outcome and a point of no return. If you'd rather not wait on three skull symbols, the Bonus Pop button buys the wheel directly at a price that scales with your stake. It runs a base spin that lands the three skulls for you, then opens the wheel, though anything Bonus Pop pays can't be sent to the gamble.

The base game leans on an expanding Wild. It stands in for everything except the skull, and when there's a winning combination waiting to be completed, extra wilds spawn onto any reel that already holds one, so a single wild can multiply itself across a column to finish the line. It pulls double duty with the Scatter too, but only loosely: there it fills in for one scatter per reel and won't expand. Scatter wins count from any position and stack on top of your line wins.

Wins can be doubled through a card draw, pick one of four face-down cards to beat the dealer's, repeatable up to ten times in a row, with a joker that beats everything and never lands in the dealer's hand. Jackpot money and Bonus Pop winnings sit out of that gamble. There are also three network mystery jackpots, Grand, Major and Minor, drawn at random with a higher bet improving your odds.

The grid sits in a gold border on a pale marble board, deep inside a dim stone pyramid chamber with carved jade idols on either side and torches throwing warm light, a fiery sunset burning through the doorway behind it. Gold-and-amber over temple blue, an Indiana-Jones treasure-hunt look. Two explorers in pith helmets, a golden Aztec mask, a stepped pyramid and a jade serpent amulet do the premium work above jewelled gold royals.
