Doubling a paytable whose bottom rungs pay 0.2x, on a bonus with no other modifier, while the game's headline 5,000x prize is switched off for the duration, gives a purchase that is fairly priced and quietly narrower than it looks. For my money the base game is the more interesting half of this pair, because Gold is live there and the Fire Prize ladder does the same job without a 30x entry fee. The buy is worth using when the grind gets tedious, which it will.
