Jade Coins Slot Overview
A small Chinese fortune slot whose entire idea is a sticky jade coin that swallows the value of every gold coin around it. Three reels, five lines, one bonus round that carries the whole game.
Gold Coins land on reels 1 and 3 with a cash value printed on them, and the Jade Coin turns up on reel 2 alone. Three coins together clears the board for the Prosperity Coins bonus, and from there it is a hold-and-win where the jade does the counting. Four jackpot plaques sit above the grid with ULTRA at 1,000x the bet on top, and that number is the reason anyone chases the round in the first place.
The same machine already exists as Crown Coins: identical coin split across the reels, identical three-attempt counter, identical ceiling, with royal props instead of jade dragons. Which is fine. Just know it going in.
Theme & Design
The whole frame is one carved emerald relief. A dragon coils through swirling cloudwork, scales catching a cold green light, and the reels drop into a gold pillar-and-pagoda frame in the middle of it. The reel panel is a near-black bottle green, so everything on it reads clearly: lavender folding fans with little tassels, orange paper lanterns, red envelopes stamped with a gold lotus, a spiral of coins bound in red cord, scrolls with gilt caps, a jade-lidded gold treasure box, a fat yuanbao ingot, and a white maneki-neko in a red collar with a gold medal on its chest.
It looks good and it looks familiar. Every one of those symbols has done service in a dozen other Lunar New Year slots. The one design choice that earns its place is the jackpot layout: purple MAX, blue MID, red ULTRA and green MIN, four small plaques flanking the logo, each showing a live cash figure at your stake rather than a multiplier. At 5 cents a spin that is 50 euros on the ULTRA plaque, right there, all session.

Features & How They Work
Prosperity Coins Bonus Game
Three or more coins across all three reels on the same spin clears the board. The triggering coins carry their prizes onto a fresh 3x3 grid of Gold Coins, Jade Coins and empty patterned cells, and an attempt counter starts at three. Every respin costs one attempt; any new coin resets it to three. Only the positions holding a Gold Coin or an empty cell keep spinning. When the attempts run out the round is over and pays.
The Jade Coin collector
This is what separates it from a plain hold-and-win. Jade Coins land on reel 2 only and stick where they fall. After each respin every Jade Coin on the board adds the value of every Gold Coin currently on the reels, including the ones that triggered the round, and at the end the totals sitting on all the jade are added together. Two Jade Coins means two separate piles both collecting from the same board. So the round you want is not the one with a fat coin in it, it is the one that opens with a Jade Coin early and keeps feeding it. The fixed jackpot prizes ride on the Gold Coins too, so a MAX or an ULTRA gets absorbed into the jade total like anything else.
Lucky Time
Coins on only one or two reels is not a trigger. Lucky Time can step in at random and drop extra coins onto the reels to force the bonus anyway. Nothing telegraphs it, and there is no way to play toward it. It simply fires sometimes, and turns a spin that looked dead into the round you were waiting for.
Risk Game
Any win can be taken to the card gamble. Four face-down cards, pick one, beat the dealer to double, up to ten times in a row. Jokers beat everything and the dealer never draws one; equal values are a draw. The gamble averages about 84% RTP, well under the slot itself, and it swings hard on the dealer card: a two puts you at 162%, an ace drops you to 42%. It is locked out during autoplay, and jackpot wins cannot be gambled at all.
Progressive Mystery Jackpots
Separate from the coin prizes, there are three network progressives: GRAND, MAJOR and MINOR. They are drawn at random with no player input, bigger stakes improve the odds, and the bet has to sit inside the qualifying range. Operators can switch the whole layer off, so it may not be running on the version you load.

How Jade Coins Plays
Spins are quick and the grid is tiny, so sessions move fast, and most of them move fast in the wrong direction. Line pays on three reels and five lines are small change. What you actually do is watch the outer two reels for something gold and ignore the middle one until it matters, and yes, that is the whole loop.
The bonus itself is short and usually modest. You'll likely see the counter reset once, maybe twice, then run out with a Jade Coin holding a handful of small values, which is what a 1,000x game returning 96.06% does most of the time. The good rounds do not build gradually either. Coins keep landing, the counter keeps refusing to go down, the jade total climbs properly for four or five respins. Then it stops.
High volatility here is not the big-swing kind that comes off a multiplier ladder. It is drought volatility. Long flat stretches, then a bonus that either pays for them or doesn't, and the gamble ladder sits there afterwards offering to make that decision worse.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- The jade collector compounds every coin on the board, so a late landing still counts for the full round
- Any coin landing resets the attempt counter to three, which keeps the good rounds alive
- Lucky Time rescues near-misses and forces the bonus at random
- Jackpot tiers are shown as cash at your stake, so what you are chasing is never abstract
Cons
- The base game is bare: five fixed lines, one wild, nothing else to play for
- A 1,000x ceiling is low for how dry the game runs between bonuses
- Standard Lunar New Year symbol set with nothing new in it
- The progressive jackpots can be switched off by the operator, and the gamble pays back about 84%
Is Jade Coins Worth Playing?
Jade Coins is a coin-collect machine with a dragon painted around it, and it knows exactly what it is. The Prosperity Coins round is built well: the attempt reset gives it a pulse, the jade collector gives every landing coin a compounding job, and the cash figures above the reels keep the target readable in a way a lot of Asian-themed slots never bother with. Tight little loop.
What it lacks is a second idea. Once the bonus ends there is nothing to do but grind back toward it, and the base game hands you nothing to hold onto meanwhile. The 1,000x cap is probably the bigger issue: for a game this dry, the top prize sits uncomfortably close to what a MAX jackpot already pays. Players who want cheap, fast hold-and-win sessions at five cents a spin will get along with it fine.
Load it for the bonus. The rest is scenery.
