About Mega Greatest Catch Slot

No Wild symbol appears during the base game. Not one. The entire base game grid runs on twelve fixed paylines with standard fish and card symbols only - Wilds are locked behind the free spins trigger, which needs three or more Scatters. That split creates two distinct games inside one slot: a conventional payline game where you're grinding toward a trigger, and a collector bonus where Wilds suddenly become the most important symbol on the grid.

The reels sit underwater, below a green pond surface where a cartoon fisherman bobs in his wooden boat. Orange pufferfish, a green frog-like creature, a purple octopus, and a brown catfish fill the premium positions. Card symbols (A, K, Q, J, 10) are styled as gold coins sunk into the riverbed. The whole palette leans warm - teals, mossy greens, amber light filtering through the water. Two of the premium fish pay identically at 200x for five-of-a-kind, but one of them pays starting from just two symbols on a line. That's unusual for a premium symbol and it bumps the 19% hit frequency up in a way that keeps the base game from feeling completely static between triggers.

Once free spins start, Wilds land and begin collecting every Fish value on screen. Fish carry bet multipliers from 2x up to 2,000x, and each Wild grabs the full set independently. But the round that players actually talk about is Dynamite. When a Wild shows up and no Fish are anywhere on the grid - a losing spin, essentially - Dynamite converts 3 to 6 random symbols into Fish with random values. It turns what would be a wasted Wild appearance into a guaranteed payout. From a player perspective, Dynamite is the reason the bonus round rarely produces completely dead stretches even at the start before the collection multiplier ramps up.

This is the base-only version. The Bonus Buy variant adds three purchasable entry points at 45x, 87x, and 137x. Same mechanics, same 10,000x ceiling, same Greatest Catch series escalation system - the difference is whether you want to sit through base game spins waiting for Scatters or skip straight to the fishing.
