About Rueda de Chile Slot

Catrina occupies all three rows of reel 1 - but she doesn't always land cleanly. If even one row of her oversized symbol peeks onto the grid, she nudges up or down until she fills the entire first reel. That nudge turns partial appearances into guaranteed activations of her Magic feature, which adds up to three extra rows above reels 2 through 5. In the base game, "up to" is the key phrase. Sometimes you get one extra row, sometimes two, sometimes the full three. Each activation is a roll of the dice on how much of that expanding grid actually opens up.

Those extra rows only accept Money symbols and Scatters. Money values range from 1x to 20x your bet, plus three jackpot tiers - Mini at 50x, Major at 200x, Mega at 1000x. But collecting them follows an adjacency rule: Money symbols need to sit on consecutive reels starting from reel 2, moving rightward. A gap on any reel kills everything beyond it. So landing a 20x Money on reel 4 means nothing if reel 3 came up empty. The partial expansion in the base game makes long chains harder than in free spins, where the grid always opens fully.

Getting to free spins requires the Wheel of Fortune, and reaching the Wheel requires three Scatters on reels 3, 4, and 5. Scatters only appear in the expanded rows during Catrina's Magic or naturally on the base grid - either way, you need her nudge to trigger first, then hope for Scatters in the right positions, then spin the Wheel and hope it lands on spins rather than a flat jackpot payout. Three layers of gating before free spins begin.

Warm saturated colors everywhere. Orange candlelight bounces off sugar skull tombstones, papel picado banners stretch across the top of the screen in purples and blues, and the reel frame sits inside dark wood paneling with ornate Dia de los Muertos carvings. The symbols lean playful - red and blue sugar skulls, acoustic guitars, maracas, tequila shots lined up like they're waiting for someone at the bar. Against the cemetery backdrop with its glowing candles and stone crosses, the whole palette runs hot: deep purples fading into burnt orange, with teal and green accents on the papel picado.
