About The Neighbor Wars Slot
Sixty-five times your bet gets you straight into the Hold and Win round with 3 respins and at least 6 locked Bonus coins on the grid - or sometimes 5 coins plus a Boost. That Boost is what separates this game from the usual Hold and Win formula. When the firework rocket symbol lands or triggers during the bonus, it permanently upgrades every Bonus coin value on the grid, including any coins that land afterward. It fires once per round, so the earlier it shows up, the better. Mystery Bonus symbols (cardboard boxes) also appear during Hold and Win and transform at the end into one of four jackpot tiers - Mini at 20x, Minor at 50x, Major at 150x, or Mega at 2,000x - or into another Boost if the round hasn't been boosted yet. Fill all 15 positions and you collect the Grand at 10,000x.
Free Spins trigger from 3 scatters on reels 2 through 4 and award 8 spins. The interesting mechanic here: the low-pay symbols get stripped out entirely, so overturned trash cans, "GO AWAY" doormats, beehives, and garden tools all disappear from the reels. Every spin during the bonus is premium-symbol-only, which means the burly neighbor, the old man with glasses, cartoon BBQ grills, purple-booted cats, and pug dogs fill the grid. Hold and Win triggers during Free Spins too, and with Stacked Mystery Symbols still active (they pick one random symbol and fill all mystery positions on every reel), you get some dense reel coverage on good spins.
There's also Beer Rush, a random base game event that forces Bonus coins onto the reels until six of them appear, guaranteeing a Hold and Win trigger. It overwrites whatever was in those positions before wins are evaluated, so a spin that looked dead suddenly launches the bonus. The whole game sits in a bright cartoon suburb - two houses (yellow and teal) on opposite sides of a wooden fence, lawn mowers and tipped-over coolers scattered around, a classic neighbor feud. Part of Betsoft's THE Series alongside The Auction House and The Jealous Ex, each built around a different story premise with its own mechanic twist.
