About The Wizard of Oz: Emerald City Slot
The whole thing is built around the 1939 film, and it shows everywhere. The reels sit on the golden Yellow Brick Road, with the original ruby-slipper logo glowing on the left and the green spires of the Emerald City catching the light on the right. Symbols are pulled straight from the movie stills: Dorothy, Professor Marvel as the Wizard, Glinda in her green-framed portrait, the floating green head of Oz, Toto in his basket, and the Wicked Witch huddled with the rest of the trio. Card suits and a gem fill the low end, all in warm gold and emerald with a soft, storybook glow. As an officially licensed movie tie-in from Light & Wonder, it leans on nostalgia rather than spectacle.
The base game runs 243 ways, and Glinda is the random spark that keeps it moving. She can float in on any spin and drop 1 to 5 bubbles onto the reels, one per reel at most. Wherever a bubble lands, that symbol duplicates and shifts up one to three positions, opening fresh ways to win before pays are counted. A bubble can also arrive as a Wild, turning its symbol wild, though those only appear on reels 2 through 5 in the base game. The top symbol is the Wild itself, which stands in for everything except the two bonus markers.
Three Bonus scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 spin a wheel, and the wheel decides which way the round goes. It can stop on a Gem cash prize, on one of four character jackpots (Dorothy at 125x your bet down through the Scarecrow, Tin Man and a Cowardly Lion at 25x), or on one of two feature rounds. There is no way to buy any of this, so the wheel only ever comes from the scatters. The Glinda Free Spin Bonus hands you 5 spins with a guaranteed batch of bubbles each time, wilds now allowed on every reel, and a mystery prize at the close that can top the round up to 8x, 10x or 15x total bet.
The other wheel result is the Emerald City picking bonus, and it climbs through the story. You pick OZ symbols across six character tiers, starting in Munchkinland and working toward the Great and Powerful Oz at the top. Gems pay credits, character symbols push you up a level, and a +COLLECT symbol cashes out everything you have banked and ends the round right there.
