Tropicool 2 upgrades the original with a bigger feature reel, big symbols, and a character: Elmo the sloth. The 3-row Cool Reel replaces the original's single-row Feature Reel, tripling the supply of special symbols feeding into the 6x6 grid. Elmo drops from the Cool Reel as a 1x2 character. When he lands, he scares nearby birds into Wilds and Locked Wilds, then walks one column right per redrop until leaving the grid.

Birds Scale by Height

The bird payout system changed. Toucans and flamingos now appear in variable heights from 1 to 6 vertical cells. Three or more birds of the same color still pay as scatters, but the payout formula multiplies the bird's base value by the product of all heights. A set of three toucans at heights 1, 5, and 3 pays base value times 15 (1 x 5 x 3). At heights 6, 6, and 6, that's base times 216. The multiplicative scaling makes tall birds exponentially more valuable.

Big Symbols and Mystery

Any paying or feature symbol (except Elmo, birds, and bonus) now drops as 2x2 or 3x3 blocks. A 3x3 symbol counts as 9 individual symbols for payout - one big premium symbol in a winning line multiplies the base payout accordingly. Big symbols crush smaller symbols underneath when they drop, which forces avalanche chains.

Mystery symbols reveal after all wins and avalanches resolve. Every Mystery on the grid reveals as the same paying symbol, potentially restarting the cascade. Row Swap still operates at the end of each avalanche cycle.

Bonus with Elmo Redrops

Three bonus symbols trigger 6 to 15 free drops with a progressive Win Multiplier (starting at x1, fed by +1/+2/+3 symbols from the Cool Reel). Locked Wilds persist between drops. Extra Drops symbols extend the session. Elmo remains active during bonus and keeps walking right, scaring birds and creating wilds on each redrop.

Max win jumped from 10,000x in the original to 25,000x here, matching the height-scaled bird payouts. RTP dropped to 94.0%. X-iter goes up to 500x for the Super Bonus (x10 starting multiplier). The 50x Elmo tier is mid-range and guarantees Elmo Redrops - often a better entry point than the 25x Locked Wilds option.
