The Feature Reel

Tropicool introduced a mechanic that would define the entire series: a conveyor reel positioned above the main 6x6 grid. This Feature Reel holds special symbols - Wilds, Locked Wilds, Multiplier Wilds, and Row Swaps. During avalanche cascades, feature symbols drop from the conveyor into empty positions below. The reel refills from the right, creating a continuous supply of bonuses feeding into the main grid.

On a 6x6 grid with 46,656 ways to win, every avalanche chain pulls in more feature symbols. Locked Wilds stick for 3 consecutive wins. Multiplier Wilds apply x2 to x5 on their winning combinations. Row Swap picks one symbol from a row and replaces the entire row with copies of it, which can set up massive same-symbol lines.

Birds and Scatter Pays

The bird symbols are three-part stacked creatures: head, body, and legs. Each part matches any other part of the same color. Three or more complete birds of one color pay as a scatter (separate from line wins). It's a secondary payout channel running alongside the 46,656-way system. Two toucans pay differently than two flamingos - each bird type has its own value table.

Bonus with a Progressive Multiplier

Three to six bonus symbols trigger 10 to 25 free drops. The bonus adds Extra Drops and Win Multiplier symbols to the Feature Reel. The Win Multiplier starts at x1 and grows by +1, +2, or +3 each time a multiplier symbol activates. Locked Wilds and feature reel contents persist between free drops, so each drop starts where the last one ended.

X-iter ranges from 1x (normal) through 500x (Super Bonus starting at x10 Win Multiplier). The Big Bonus at 200x is interesting - it starts with an x5 multiplier for 100x less than the Super Bonus. That pricing gap means the x5 head start covers a lot of the value difference. RTP is 95.0%, and the series launched here before ELK moved to 94% standard.
