About Crystal Skull Dice Slot

The signature here runs in two stages, and the second one is the prize. Three BONUS symbols spin a Wheel of Fortune that lands on a total-bet multiplier - x10, x12, x15, x20 or x25 - or on a BONUS wedge that drops you into the Treasure Hunt. The clever bit is the retry: you can pocket whatever the wheel gives you, or gamble it away across up to three spins chasing a bigger multiplier or that BONUS wedge, with only your final attempt counting. So a x10 you don't like can be rerolled twice, but a greedy third spin can hand you a worse result than you started with.

Hit the BONUS wedge and the Treasure Hunt opens, a five-level climb with five carved stone masks per level. The first three levels hide gemstones - pick a mask, collect a prize scaled to your bet, advance. Levels four and five are where it gets tense: the masks now hide artifacts and snakes, the temple's treasury keepers. An artifact pays and pushes you up. A snake either flips into an artifact and lets you continue, or strikes and ends the level on the spot. Everything you've banked is summed and paid at the close, and once you're in the Treasure Hunt there's no going back to the wheel.

You don't have to wait for three BONUS symbols. The Bonus POP button at the lower left buys straight into the Treasure Hunt, its cost scaling with your stake, skipping the wheel entirely. Bought winnings can't be sent to the Risk Game though, the standard Endorphina card draw where you beat the dealer's face-down card to double, up to ten times running. Some operators also bolt on a separate progressive mystery pot.

The base game does its own thing while you wait. The Crystal Skull wild only shows on reels two through four, and when a win is there to be completed it multiplies, spawning extra wilds on any reel that already holds one. There's a catch with the pyramid scatter: when a wild helps complete a scatter combination it stands in for just one scatter per reel and won't expand on that reel. Scatter pays count from anywhere and add on top of line wins.

Every reel symbol is a glossy golden die, its pips set as coloured gemstones - sapphire, ruby, pink and amber - mixed with golden Aztec mask tiles and a rugged explorer who tops the paytable. The whole machine sits in a torch-lit stone temple, two giant warrior statues carved into the walls on either side, warm gold catching the firelight against cool blue stone. A dice slot dressed as a lost-temple raid, and the wheel-then-pick structure gives it more to chase than the grid alone would suggest.
