The reel split matters more than the layout does. Wilds only reach reels 2 through 5, scatters only reels 1, 2 and 3, and three of those scatters open a ten spin round where wilds land and stay landed. It's closer to a cartoon mascot than to the rest of the painting. Royals are colour-coded (green 9, red 10, blue J, yellow Q, orange K, purple A), which keeps a busy 20 symbol grid readable, though the cream panel does soften the contrast on the lighter symbols.

Scatters live on the left three reels, so the bonus question gets answered early. By the time reel 3 stops a player already knows whether the round is coming, and reels 4 and 5 are just tidying up. That removes the late tension most slots are built around, and the base game feels flatter for it.

Wins arrive often enough at medium volatility and most of them are small: a J across four reels, an ingot run, ten or twenty cents back on a 0.50 spin. The gamble sits one tap away after each of them, which for my money is the most dangerous button in the game.
