Skibblings flips the dungeon-crawl script. Instead of adventurers looting a dungeon, you're the dungeon creatures - small green goblin-like things armed with a cannon. The 5x4 grid sits inside their lair, and 14 lanterns are scattered between symbol positions. Those lanterns are the ammo supply.
Wins trigger avalanches (cascading). Each winning combination that passes through a lit lantern collects skibblings into the cannon. Lantern values come in three sizes: low (+1), mid (+3), and high (+10). Once the cannon holds 5 or more skibblings and no more wins appear, it fires.
Cannon Blast shoots all collected skibblings back onto the grid. Where they land, symbols become mystery symbols. Multiple skibblings on the same position increase that mystery symbol's multiplier. After all skibblings land, every mystery symbol reveals as the same payout type (or wilds). Multipliers stay on the revealed symbols.
In the base game, this is a single-round event. In the bonus, it's much bigger. Skibblings accumulate in the cannon across all free spins but the Cannon Blast only triggers at the end of the last spin. Seven free spins of collecting means the final blast can drop dozens of multiplied mystery symbols at once.
Two special wilds sit at opposite ends of the same system. The Paladin, when part of a winning combination, sweeps all lit lantern skibblings into the cannon immediately. Then it and its adjacent symbols get removed - fast collection, quick cleanup.
The Wizard does the opposite. It lights every unlit lantern on the grid (random values), then explodes and removes all payout symbols. The board clears, lanterns stay lit, and the avalanche refills everything from scratch. One spin with a Wizard followed by a Paladin sweep can load the cannon from empty to overflowing.
Three bonus symbols trigger 7 free spins (4 symbols = 9, 5 = 11). The Super Bonus variant guarantees Skibbling Rain - random skibblings added to the grid - at the start of every free spin. That's a steady stream of mystery symbols building up alongside the cannon accumulation.
The 26.5% hit frequency is the highest in this ELK batch, which helps since the game needs wins to pass through lanterns to charge anything. But the real payoff is deferred to that final Cannon Blast. If seven free spins of lantern collection feed into a single massive blast with stacked multipliers on mystery symbols, the 10,000x cap becomes reachable. If the bonus runs dry on wins, the cannon fires with nothing loaded.
X-iter pricing goes from 2.5x (bonus hunt) to 250x (Super Bonus buy). The 25x King Spin option guarantees either Skibbling Rain or Bonus Rain and upgrades any triggered bonus to Super - a useful middle ground if 100x feels steep.
