Everything under it carries over from the standard version. Bass land carrying cash tags, a Fisherman lands and sweeps them up, and two bonus rounds decide whether a session goes anywhere. The change is what it costs. Base RTP sits at 94% here with a further 0.99% diverted into the shared pots, landing the combined figure at 94.99%. You are not really losing return, you are having a slice of it lifted off the reels and parked in a prize most sessions never touch.

The lake itself is postcard calm. Snow peaks and dark pine forest above the waterline, pale turquoise water below, columns of bubbles standing in for reel dividers, kelp and grey boulders crowding the bottom corners. Then there is the rail. At its foot a wooden barrel rolls cash amounts on a permanent loop. The two halves of the screen do not belong together at all, a quiet cold lake bolted to a fairground panel, and the rail wins the fight for your eyes every time.

The rail rewires where your attention goes. That barrel at the bottom of the jackpot panel rolls cash figures nonstop, 5.00, then 90.00, then 400.00, with the odd MAJOR banner tumbling past, so something is always moving even through twenty flat spins. Cheap trick. Works anyway.

What it does to the rhythm is less obvious. The standard build has two ways to break up a dry patch; this one has three, and the third can land unannounced on any spin, which makes the flat stretches feel shorter than they actually are. The counting becomes the entertainment. Three flames on screen, then a fourth, then a fifth reel that brings nothing, and that near miss carries more of the session than the pots ever will. Most players will finish a long run with the ladder showing very nearly the numbers it showed when they sat down (and yes, everyone still checks it on the way out).

Blueprint took a finished bass slot and bolted a network jackpot onto its flank, and the honest read is that the game underneath never needed one. The collect mechanic already had a top end worth chasing. What the ladder adds is a second thing to want, and the reels quietly pay for it.

So check the pots before you load it. A Mega King that has been climbing for weeks is worth aiming at; one that reset yesterday leaves an ordinary fishing slot with an expensive decoration down the left side. The wheel does not make this a better fishing game. It makes it a fishing game with a lottery strapped to it, and at least it is upfront about that from the first frame.
